Query Tool for Complex reporting
Stratum contains an extensive query system which allows you to create reports on any combination of data held within the system. Reports using Query can be to screen, printer, PDF, Excel, Word, Crystal Reports, ASCII files and XML. New reports are created entirely by your own users after training and less experienced users can ask a wizard to guide them through the process. Reports can be saved, added to menus and/or made available to WEB users so that they can just run the report rather than having to create the report in the first place.
Third Party Report Writers
Stratum supports the use of third party report writers such as Crystal for the definition of reports via ODBC. In our opinion Crystal is capable of providing good quality reports but their definition is not always within the capabilities of the non technical users. Provision of a menu of available reports to different users is usually the most satisfactory way of providing access to reporting.
