The Open University are excited by their new Informer Dashboard tool, which will be providing them with the ability to turn data to intelligence in a format that will enable everyone in the organisation to utilise and benefit from the power of data in a multi-dimensional graphical view. They have been using Informer regularly for some time and have recently enhanced their existing Business Intelligence reporting tool by including live, interactive, flexible Dashboards.

“At the OU we are just starting to use the Informer dashboard tool. We are looking forward to being able to group KPI’s, reports and funding outcomes together so that the output can be viewed by teams in a single area and with graphical content.

Current reports are 1 dimensional and we are excited to work with a tool that can add multi dimensions to the data on display. This also offers the versatility of parameters that can be changed on sections of the dashboard and target gauges that help clearly illustrate where we are as a team or individual to name only a few key points for us.

Not everyone is as keen on lines of data and counts so this is a great end user tool that we expect others to enjoy using as well as exciting for me to work with.”
